On the Bukhtarma reservoir in the East Kazakhstan region, rescuers helped two men whose boat ran aground. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The incident occurred in the Altai district on Gusiny Island. The vacationers could not return to the shore on their own and asked for help.

Emergency workers freed the boat from the shallows and escorted it along with the two men to the shore.

The condition of the vacationers is satisfactory; they did not require medical assistance.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded about the need to follow water safety rules, take into account the bottom relief and weather conditions.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that on the Bukhtarma reservoir in the Samara district, rescuers found a man and a woman who had not returned to the recreation center after a boat ride. They were found about two kilometers from the shore and brought to land; they did not require medical assistance.
