Internal trade among BRICS countries has already reached $1.2 trillion. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
BRICS is actively participating in shaping a more just multipolar world order, Vladimir Putin said at the BRICS+ meeting held in New Delhi.
"BRICS today is one of the powerful driving forces of strengthening processes in international relations, actively participating in the process of shaping genuine multilateralism, a new, just, multipolar world order," Putin said.
The activities of BRICS in the world are in the spotlight, the Russian president noted.
"For many people in the world, our core values and ideals are attractive, for example, adherence to an independent and self-reliant course, the desire to resolve issues collectively, relying on international law and the fundamental provisions of the UN Charter," Putin said.
BRICS advocates that all countries have equal and unlimited opportunities for economic and social growth while preserving unique national cultures and traditions, he added.
