The international Future Games 2026 tournament in Astana is approaching a record audience. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In the first four days of the competition, tournament broadcasts were viewed more than 85 million times. Organizers predict that by the end of the event, the total audience could reach 430–490 million views.
This year, the number of media partners of the tournament has doubled, increasing from 27 to 54. The number of streamers broadcasting the competition has grown from 58 to 120. Broadcasts are conducted in more than 16 languages.
Tournament content is distributed through digital platforms and TV channels in China, CIS countries, Latin America, India, and other regions. These include HUYA, BIGG TV, Play TV, XP Esports, VK, bilibili, Rutube, and Douyu.
Streaming platforms are also contributing to the growth in viewership. While in the previous tournament, 82% of all views came from digital services, this year that share is increasing further.
According to organizers, the highest figures may be recorded during the final stage. On August 5, the Dota 2 final will take place, and on August 8–9, the winners of Counter-Strike 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and phygital football will be determined.
The Future Games 2026 is an international multi-sport tournament combining traditional sports and digital technologies. The competition is being held in Astana from July 29 to August 9.
