At the National Olympic Committee, on the occasion of Sports Day, famous boxers and coaches were honored. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Coaches Askar Yerkebayev and Yeldos Saidalin, as well as boxers Nurbek Oralbay, Aibek Oralbay and Nazym Kyzaibay were awarded the badge "Honored Worker of the Olympic Movement of the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the 1st degree. Another coach, Dolkunzhan Kamekov, was awarded the 2nd degree of the same medal.
It should be noted that Askar Yerkebayev is the head coach of the Kazakhstan national team, Yeldos Saidalin coaches the women's team, and Dolkunzhan Kamekov trains female boxers in Almaty.
