Prosecutor Aizhan Aimaganova announced that she left the authorities to become a candidate for deputy from the Adilet party. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
On her Instagram page, the state prosecutor who gained wide recognition after the trial in the murder case of Saltanat Nukenova announced that she left the authorities. She did this in connection with her nomination as a candidate for deputy.
"I made this decision consciously. I am confident that my professional experience and knowledge can be useful in legislative activities, as well as in solving issues that concern our citizens. I thank everyone for their support, questions, and attention," the former prosecutor's office employee stated on her page.
Aizhan Aimaganova also noted that she worked in the authorities for many years to serve the law and the state.
Earlier, it was reported that at the III Extraordinary Congress of the Adilet party, a party list of 186 candidates for deputies of the Kurultai was approved. Among those nominated are Erlan Karin, Bagdat Musin, Yekaterina Smyshlyaeva, Askhat Aimagambetov, and Adil Baltabayev.
