The formation of a unicameral parliamentary system in Kazakhstan has great historical significance. This was stated by Bair Zhamsuev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on International Affairs. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Zhamsuev, the stages of Kazakhstan's institutional development have laid a solid foundation for the modernization of the state apparatus. In his opinion, studying Kazakhstan's experience in lawmaking is also of interest to other CSTO member states.
