Kazakhstan has launched a call for applications for a competition of educational projects. Authors of the best initiatives can receive grants of up to 10 million tenge to develop and scale their solutions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Application period

Applications can be submitted from July 30 to August 31, 2026. Based on the results of the competition, it is planned to support five to seven projects, each of which can receive up to 10 million tenge. Winners will be announced on September 10.

Who can participate?

The competition is designed for existing projects in education. Organizers note that initiatives must have first results, a completed pilot stage, or a ready product. Projects that exist only at the idea level are not allowed to participate.

"Change starts with people who don't wait for the problem to solve itself. We want to support exactly such teams — with working solutions, bold ideas, and a willingness to work systematically. If your project already helps schoolchildren, students, or teachers, and you understand how to make it stronger, we are very much looking forward to your application," said Aidar Buribayev, director of EA Charity fund.

Participation conditions

Individuals and legal entities over 21 years old who implement educational initiatives in Kazakhstan can apply. Potential participants include: educational startups, centers for additional, career guidance, and inclusive education, teachers, and students.

Priority areas

Priority will be given to projects aimed at increasing access to quality education, introducing new technologies into the learning process, supporting teachers, developing inclusive education, and creating a safe educational environment.

How to apply?

Applications are accepted in Kazakh and Russian through the Tamyr Platform website until 23:59 on August 31. Additional information can be found on the platform's website and its social media.
