Kazakhstan's Interior Ministry has reminded the public that wearing clothing that hinders facial recognition in public places is prohibited. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Article 434-3 of the Administrative Code, first-time offenders receive a warning. If repeated within a year, a fine of 10 monthly calculation indices (MCI) is imposed.
Currently, 1,613 citizens have been held administratively liable for this violation. The ministry stated that the requirement is aimed at ensuring public safety.
