Business support and accompaniment centers will open in five regions of Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the Damu Fund, Farkhat Sarsekeyev, at a government meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A meeting was held in the government chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin. According to Farkhat Sarsekeyev, entrepreneurs often do not know where to turn when difficulties arise in business. Because solving this issue may fall within the competence of various state bodies and organizations. Therefore, there is a need to develop a unified mechanism for comprehensive business support from problem identification to its resolution.
"When creating support centers, an analysis was made of more than 2.4 thousand applications from SMEs from the register of problematic issues of the Atameken NCE. More than 600 of them came from regions where the pilot project is planned to be launched. The main part of business applications concerned access to financing, debt restructuring, obtaining state support measures, consultations on taxes, product sales, and development of entrepreneurial competencies. Also, a significant part of requests covers the agricultural sector," said Farkhat Sarsekeyev.
The work of the centers will be built on the principle of "one window". There, on the basis of the Damu Fund branches, you can get advice on any issue of concern.
As part of the pilot project, centers will be organized in five regions: Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, North Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions. Based on the results of the pilot, which will last from September to December, an assessment of the effectiveness of the new mechanism will be carried out and a decision will be made to extend the project to all regions of the country.
