In Kazakhstan, after complaints about fuel quality, samples were taken at a plant and several gas stations. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Sputnik Kazakhstan, citing the official website of the Ministry of Trade and Integration, arbitration samples of gasoline taken directly at the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant have been sent to an independent laboratory.
Additionally, fuel samples with additives from Sinoil, QazaqOil, and Helios will be studied separately. Also, gasoline was purchased under control at 17 gas stations.
Specifically, samples were taken in Almaty (5 samples), Almaty region (5 samples), Abai region (6 samples), and Zhambyl region (1 sample).
"The results of the study will be known within a week," said ministry specialists.
To date, the ministry has received 9 applications from Astana, one from Pavlodar, and two from the North Kazakhstan region.
During the inspection, samples will be taken throughout the entire supply chain, including oil depots.
If gasoline does not meet the requirements of the technical regulations, measures provided by law will be taken. Measures are envisaged to ban the sale and withdraw from circulation substandard petroleum products.
