Major transport construction projects in Kazakhstan must be completed on time and without compromising quality. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov set this task for the new head of the Ministry of Transport, Asel Zhanasova. Introducing her to the ministry's staff, the prime minister named the priorities: the quality of road construction, the development of roadside infrastructure, and the completion of the reconstruction of automobile checkpoints in 2027.
«Next year, major projects are planned for delivery in all areas of the transport sector. It is necessary to ensure high-quality and timely implementation,» Bektenov emphasized.
He recalled that 2027 has been declared the Year of Large-Scale Construction and instructed that Kazakhstan's position as a transport and logistics hub of Eurasia be strengthened.
Recall that Zhanasova was appointed deputy prime minister — minister of transport by presidential decree. In her new post, she replaced Nurlan Sauranbayev.
