Deputy Akim of Abai Region Bekzhan Bapyshev commented on the start of the heating season. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
At today's government meeting, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov ordered that the deputy akim of Abai Region be held disciplinary liable. The reason was that heat sources and networks were not ready by October 1.
According to Deputy Akim of Abai Region Bekzhan Bapyshev, the region is now fully prepared for the heating season, and heat supply work is being carried out in a standard mode. In particular, since October 1, social facilities in Semey have been connected to the heating system in stages. Heat is now also being supplied to multi-storey residential buildings.
"In the city of Semey there are 5 projects with a two-year transition period. Under 1 project, there were shortcomings on the part of the contractor organization. That is, the equipment was not delivered on time. As of today, the equipment has been fully installed. Social facilities were connected first. Residential buildings are being connected second. We want to convey that there is no reason for residents to worry," Bapyshev said.
He keeps the heat supply issue in the region under constant control.
