Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov stated that delays in the delivery of Stadler wagons are unacceptable and gave corresponding instructions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The head of government emphasized the need for timely execution of the contract with Stadler as part of the modernization of railway transport. According to Bektenov, timely receipt of new wagons is important for improving the quality of passenger transportation.
The Prime Minister instructed relevant ministries and agencies to strengthen control over the project's progress and prevent any delays. He also warned about the need to strictly adhere to the schedule for the production and delivery of Stadler wagons.
Recall that Kazakhstan Railways has signed a contract with Stadler to renew passenger wagons. The new wagons are expected to provide comfort and safety for passengers.
