Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has ordered measures against illegally imported vehicles. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

At today's government meeting, Bektenov disclosed available data. According to it, facts of illegal import of vehicles into Kazakhstan are still being recorded.

"Most of such vehicles do not meet technical and environmental requirements. This is also due to gaps in the law enforcement practice of customs legislation norms," Bektenov said.

In this regard, the prime minister instructed the ministries of finance and industry to develop a set of measures within 10 days to prevent illegal import of vehicles.
