The man injured in a road accident involving former MP Bakytzhan Bazarbek has been discharged from hospital. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The former Mazhilis member announced this on his Instagram account. The man had been receiving treatment at a multidisciplinary hospital in Taraz. Bazarbek said the discharge took place on the 31st day of treatment.

"Nurzhigit has been discharged from the city multidisciplinary hospital in Taraz! For the last 3 days Nurzhigit was in a hurry to be discharged from the hospital. And so, on the 31st day he is being discharged from the hospital alive and well," the former MP wrote.

What is known about the accident

Recall that on August 16, news emerged of an accident on the Western Europe — Western China highway. The police department of Zhambyl region said that the driver of a Toyota car, citizen B., struck a man who was on the roadway. The injured man was hospitalized in intensive care.

Later, Bakytzhan Bazarbek confirmed that he had been involved in the traffic accident. However, for now neither he nor his wife can disclose the circumstances of what happened, because they have signed a non-disclosure agreement. The former MP also asked that rumors about the accident involving him not be spread.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that Bazarbek understood within four days of being in the hospital with the family of 36-year-old Nurzhigit.
