Producer Bayana Alaguzova has responded to criticism on social media. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The controversy arose over different conditions at concerts of Kazakh group KeshYOU and American rapper Kanye West (Ye) in Almaty. Earlier, on Threads, Alaguzova complained that fireworks were allowed during Ye's concert, while local artists, she said, are not given such opportunities.
After a storm of indignation from users, Alaguzova spoke out again on Threads.
"I'm done! I'm tired of arguing. Kanye is super, he didn't walk, he flew! We don't need fireworks, we're second class — judging by the feed, the majority admitted this. Bravo!" she wrote.
The producer added that she is currently in France and plans to organize a second concert for her protégés upon her return.
"I will start making the second concert of my 'second-class' artists, naturally without fireworks. I'm waiting for you in Astana, tickets will be much cheaper, we are our own! Those who doubt our professionalism, please don't come. Continue to trample your own," Alaguzova stated.
Later, Alaguzova emphasized that for the first time she decided to speak publicly not about gossip, but about unequal treatment, but she was not understood.
Recall that earlier commentators urged the producer not to compare KeshYOU with a world-class artist and reminded of Kanye West's international recognition. In particular, commentators noted that the rapper is the winner of 24 Grammy awards.
Earlier, Kursiv reported on what the apartment in Almaty that Bayana Alaguzova gave to People's Artist of Kazakhstan Meruert Utekeshova looks like.
