In the village of Krugloozernoye, West Kazakhstan region, a car hit two people. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on September 8 at approximately 23:00. According to the regional police department, an unknown driver hit two pedestrians and fled the scene.
As a result, one of the pedestrians died from injuries, the second was hospitalized.
Police officers arrived at the scene immediately. As a result of urgent measures, the driver was identified and the car was found. The suspect was detained, and the vehicle was placed in a specialized parking lot.
Currently, investigative actions are underway.
