In the West Kazakhstan region, a student sued his own father. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The son, who enrolled in college, demanded that his father pay child support during his studies. The case was initially heard by a reconciliation judge.
During the pre-trial reconciliation procedure, the student reached an agreement with his father. Under the terms of the agreement, the man will pay his son 40,000 tenge monthly from September 25, 2026, to June 25, 2027.
Thus, the claimant will receive child support while studying until he turns twenty-one. The Kaztalovka District Court approved the mediation agreement and terminated the proceedings in the case.
