The whole of Bangkok has been declared a flood disaster zone as authorities try to pump days of floodwater into the sea. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.
Heavy rain over the last two days has overwhelmed Bangkok's water systems, with more rain forecast on Sunday.
People have been urged to stay at home and those living close to the city's network of canals have been advised to move their belongings to upper floors.
