Family and friends of the victims of a deadly school shooting in Thailand collected the bodies of the deceased on Saturday from a morgue in Bangkok. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Associated Press.

The tragedy occurred on Friday at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi province, near Bangkok. A 14-year-old student opened fire on several people, killing at least five and wounding more than 20. Authorities said the shooter also appeared to have killed his two grandparents at the family home earlier in the morning and took his own life at the school.

On Saturday, relatives and friends of the victims came to the police hospital morgue in Bangkok to collect bodies and paid tribute to the victims. People offered prayers at the school gate.

Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances. This is one of the deadliest school shootings in Thailand in recent years.
