At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, tests of the new Progress MS-35 cargo spacecraft have begun. After delivery from Moscow, its solar panels and onboard systems were checked, Roscosmos reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Testing of radio equipment and control apparatus will continue until the end of July. The main mission of the spacecraft is to deliver fuel, water, food, scientific equipment, and crew supplies to the International Space Station.

As previously reported, after the first launch, the Soyuz-5 rocket will be modernized, and in the summer of 2027, two more rockets will be produced and launched.
