On September 7, Baikonur will host one of the largest autumn events – the 9th city festival 'Friendship of Peoples!'. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The festive event will begin at 18:00 on the central square of Baikonur. Institutions and organizations will take part in a procession in national costumes, presenting the cultural characteristics of different countries.
During the procession, dances, songs, and traditions of peoples will be shown. As part of the festival, a 'Round Dance of Friendship' will be held, and an exhibition of national dishes will be organized. There will also be exhibitions, master classes, and competitions in national sports.
The evening program will also include a concert prepared by the city's creative groups.
