Two Kazakh women have died in the city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an official comment on the incident. The statement said: "The Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai is providing the necessary consular and legal assistance, including assistance in processing relevant documents and interaction with the competent authorities of the Emirates regarding the circumstances of the death of Kazakh citizens."
According to the ministry, the competent authorities of the UAE are establishing the circumstances of the incident. In the interests of the investigation, no additional information is currently being disclosed.
The Foreign Ministry also said it maintains constant contact with the families of the deceased and, within its competence, provides them with the necessary assistance.
