Kazakh athletes have won another gold medal at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In the up to 77 kg category, Ayanat Zhumagali lifted a total of 237 (104+133) kg and took the gold medal.
Uzbek athletes Dilnura Kholdorova (224 (101+123) kg) and Dilnoza Fayzullaeva (223 (100+123) kg) took the second and third places, respectively.
It should be noted that earlier Snezhana Kashkarova (up to 57 kg), Beibarys Yerseit (up to 65 kg), Akzhol Kurmanbek (up to 85 kg) won gold medals among juniors, and Ksenia Prozorova (up to 61 kg) was the best among youths.
The Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championship is taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
