Badminton competitions continue at the XX Summer Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the press service of the Sports Development Directorate of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan's representatives Nargiza Rakhmetullayeva and Makhsut Tadzhibullayev competed in the round of 32 in the mixed doubles event.
Their opponents were Indonesia's Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwa.
The match ended with a score of 0:2 in favor of the Indonesian pair. Thus, the Kazakh badminton players finished their run in the mixed doubles at the round of 32 stage.
The XX Summer Asian Games will continue until October 4. Medals will be contested across various sports throughout the tournament.
It is worth noting that the Asian Games are the continent's largest sporting event and are held once every four years. This year's competition is hosted by Aichi and Nagoya.
