The phased support of doctors has reduced the shortage of doctors in rural areas by 13.8%, and the shortage of mid-level medical personnel by 1%. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
To attract specialists to rural areas, 529 scarce specialized doctors who signed a contract for at least 5 years received a one-time payment of 8.5 million tenge.
"In 152 hospitals, police posts were set up around the clock, and in Astana and Almaty, ambulance teams were equipped with personal video recorders transmitting data to the Operational Control Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which reduced the number of conflicts by 90%," the message says.
The total plan for the purchase of medicines for the year was approved in the amount of 584.1 billion tenge. As a result of negotiations on 66 names of domestic drugs, their prices decreased, saving the budget 10.3 billion tenge.
"Currently, 209 Kazakhstani manufacturers are registered in the country. Of these, 43 produce finished medicines. In the first quarter of this year, the volume of pharmaceutical production reached 70.8 billion tenge, which is 46% more than in the same period last year," experts say.
As part of the implementation of the head of state's task to develop the pharmaceutical industry and increase the share of domestic medicines in the domestic market to 50% by 2029, the government concluded 6 major investment agreements worth 391.3 billion tenge. Under these projects, 474 new drug names will be produced. As a result, the country's dependence on imports will decrease.
Currently, 23 previously separately operating information systems are being integrated into the 7 main components of the unified E-Densaulyq platform. Also, the launch of a unified medical data warehouse with a volume of 1.5 petabytes is nearing completion. This system will collect data from 95% of the country's clinics.
