In Astana, a new free service has been launched on the eGov.kz portal and the eGov Mobile application that sends notifications about emergency hospitalization. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The service ensures that if a person is hospitalized due to a traffic accident or other reasons and cannot contact relatives on their own, their close ones will receive a notification about the hospitalization. For this purpose, the service "Registration of trusted contacts for notification in case of hospitalization" has been launched on the eGov portal.
Through this service, up to three trusted persons can be specified to receive notifications. The procedure for enabling the service: authorization on the portal; selection of the service "Registration of trusted contacts for notification in case of hospitalization"; entering the IIN of the trusted person. The person specified on the portal must be over 18 years old and registered in the database of mobile citizens. Additionally, they must give their consent to join the service.
According to ministry specialists, the service was created to allow close relatives to receive information about the patient's condition more promptly and to contact the patient or medical organization in a timely manner.
