Specialists from Kazhydromet reported that on Wednesday, August 12, unfavorable meteorological conditions (UMC) are expected in five cities of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
These cities are Aktobe, Almaty, Atyrau, Semey, and Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the surface layer of atmospheric air.
