An Australian TV journalist has rescued a man from a sinking car. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.

The incident occurred in Morayfield, Queensland. Will Murray, a reporter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), was at the scene reporting when he saw a vehicle drive past him into deep water.

Murray and a bystander rushed to help the driver as the SUV sank. According to Murray, when it became clear the car was sinking very fast, "there was no thinking involved," because the man might have drowned.

"Better that you jump in and give it a crack," Murray told BBC News.

The rescue operation was successful, and the driver survived. The video of the incident was published by BBC News.
