Kazakhstan's aviation fuel production has reached its highest level in 13 years. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Energy, aviation fuel production in January-June 2026 amounted to 450,000 tons, the highest figure in 13 years. This is 12% more than in the same period last year.
The increase was driven by several factors: rising domestic demand, the launch of new oil refineries, and expansion of export markets. Ministry officials said this achievement will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the aviation fuel market.
Experts attribute the growth to the recovery of air travel and the opening of new routes. Government support measures also played a significant role.
It is worth noting that Kazakhstan is one of the world's major producers of aviation fuel. These achievements positively impact the country's economic development.
