The new flagship crossover Audi Q9 will enter the Kazakhstan market in the first half of 2027. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media. Pre-orders for the model are planned to open closer to the end of 2026.
The world premiere of the Audi Q9 took place in late July 2026. The new model became the largest production car in the brand's history and the first Audi with the Q9 index. Production of the crossover was established at a plant in Bratislava.
At the start of sales in Kazakhstan, customers will be offered Advanced and S line trim levels with a 2.9-liter petrol V6 TFSI engine producing 299 hp and 630 Nm of torque.
Later, the lineup will be expanded with the sporty SQ9 version with a 4.0-liter V8 producing 591 hp. Final trim levels and prices will be announced closer to the start of order acceptance.
The Audi Q9 is a full-size family crossover with three rows of seats. At 5.31 meters in length, it is designed for seven passengers, and a six-seat version with two separate second-row seats will also be available as an alternative.
Features of the model include automatic doors, Matrix LED digital headlights, next-generation OLED taillights, an Android Automotive-based multimedia system with ChatGPT support, and a wide range of electronic driver assistance systems.
In addition, the Audi Q9 is equipped with the brand's quattro all-wheel drive and an all-wheel steering system that enhances maneuverability at low speeds and stability on the highway.
