FlyArystan has launched direct flights on the Atyrau–Batumi route. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The first flight FS7229 was ceremonially greeted at Batumi International Airport with a traditional water arch. The Airbus A320 aircraft departed Atyrau at 10:40 and landed in Batumi at 12:00 local time.
The return flight departs Batumi at 13:00 and arrives in Atyrau at 16:15. The flight duration is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, FlyArystan said.
Flights to Batumi will operate until August 25 of this year once a week on Tuesdays. The new route allows residents of Atyrau and other cities in Western Kazakhstan to reach one of the popular resorts on the Black Sea coast directly and comfortably.
The visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and Georgia makes travel to this country even more accessible. Tickets can be purchased through the FlyArystan mobile app, the airline's official website, and other sales channels.
