Under the coordination of the Atyrau Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Organized Crime Control Department of the Police Department, together with other interested law enforcement agencies, detained a 39-year-old suspect during the operational preventive measure "Weapon". He stored firearms at his place of residence and was involved in delivering prohibited items to a correctional facility in the city using a drone. According to the police, during a search of his residence, an unregistered 12-gauge double-barreled hunting rifle, three drones, a plastic container with sturgeon caviar, a 12-gauge single-barreled sawn-off shotgun and 4 cartridges, as well as a paper-wrapped substance of plant origin, dark green in color with a characteristic odor, were found and confiscated.
A pre-trial investigation was conducted on this fact, and the case was sent to court. By a court verdict, the convict was sentenced to imprisonment.
