In Atyrau, eight participants of a wedding procession were held accountable for gross violations of traffic rules. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
According to police, the violations occurred on August 1 at about 20:00 on Abulkhair Khan Avenue. Drivers and passengers of Volkswagen Polo and Lada Priora cars committed actions that threatened road safety and other road users.
Patrol police officers identified all participants of the incident. Eight people were held accountable for violating maneuvering rules, operating vehicles in violation of established requirements, not wearing seat belts, and creating an emergency situation.
The police department of Atyrau region reminded that demonstrative violations of traffic rules during wedding processions and other mass events pose a threat to the life and health of citizens.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that in the village of Zhayrem, Ulytau region, police drew up 22 administrative protocols against participants of a wedding procession after a video was published on social media. Law enforcement identified the organizer and drivers of eight cars that violated traffic rules. The cars, including Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX, were sent to an impound lot.
