In Atyrau, a teenager who attacked a 13-year-old schoolgirl with a knife has been sentenced. The case was heard with the participation of jurors. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred in March. The accused went home after school, put a knife and a hammer in his bag, and then returned to school.
Telling the guard that he had forgotten his glasses, he entered, caught up with the 13-year-old schoolgirl he saw in the corridor, and stabbed her 5 times.
At the trial, it was established that the attack was premeditated. The teenager had been preparing for several days before the incident and left notes on his phone about revenge.
In them, he wrote that he also wanted to kill his parents. An examination showed that he was in a state where he could be held accountable for his actions.
The teenager was found guilty of attempted murder of a minor.
