The tragic incident occurred on July 22, as reported on social media. According to relatives of the deceased, the crime happened in front of a 3-year-old girl. The child stayed alone near her mother's body for 1.5 days.
Four days later, the suspect was detained. According to the police department of Atyrau region, a 38-year-old man who lived with the woman was detained on suspicion of killing her during a domestic dispute and placed in a temporary detention facility.
A criminal case has been opened on the charge of "Murder." An investigation is underway.
