A man died during a football match in the city of Atbasar. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to information spread on social media, the 58-year-old man had come from Astana to participate in regional competitions. During the match, his condition suddenly worsened, and he lost consciousness.
Unfortunately, the man died without regaining consciousness. The regional police confirmed the tragic incident.
Currently, the Atbasar district police have opened a criminal case into the death of the man born in 1968. According to preliminary data, the cause of death is heart disease. A final decision will be made after an examination.
