VIETJET QAZAQSTAN has announced the temporary suspension of flights on the "Astana – Omsk – Astana" route. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The company's official statement reads: "Due to periodic restrictions introduced on the use of airspace near the city of Omsk and the impossibility of ensuring safe and stable flight operations, VIETJET QAZAQSTAN is temporarily suspending flights on the Astana – Omsk – Astana route."
Flights are suspended until August 31.
Passengers who have booked tickets can get a full refund. Company specialists say: "If the ticket was purchased on the VIETJET QAZAQSTAN website, you should contact the airline's call center, and if purchased through a travel agency or online agency, you should contact them directly."
