Flight KC205 from Astana to Dubai has returned to the departure airport, Air Astana reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"On July 12, flight KC205 Astana - Dubai, which departed Astana at 07:10, is returning to the departure airport. Flight KS 897 Almaty - Dubai, scheduled for 08:50 on July 12, has been canceled," the airline said.
Passengers are offered a full refund of ticket costs at the place of purchase, the company said.
Further changes to the flight schedule will be announced later.
"Air Astana is closely monitoring the situation and resolving issues regarding the transportation of remaining passengers. We ask passengers to check the status of flights, as changes in departure and arrival times at destinations are expected," Air Astana said.
