In Astana, police officers solved a theft from a dental clinic, with damages amounting to about 2 million tenge. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.

According to police, the intruder took advantage of the clinic being closed, picked a key, and entered inside. Before that, he put a black stocking on his head to hide his appearance.

Laptops, gadgets, and a safe were stolen from the clinic.

Despite the disguise, the man was captured by street cameras before he covered his face. After reviewing the footage, police identified him. He turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Astana.

A criminal case has been opened on the theft.

Police reminded business owners to use reliable locks, alarms, and video surveillance systems, as well as to store valuables in protected places.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that police in Astana are investigating the theft of auto parts worth more than 1 million tenge. According to investigators, a former store employee, together with store workers, placed a fictitious order, after which four headlights from a premium car were taken from the warehouse. The identities of the alleged participants were established using video surveillance cameras.
