The Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Astana considered the case of two young men who filmed a provocative video in a public toilet and published it on TikTok. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the case materials, the men deliberately did not use the automatic glass darkening function that ensures privacy, and simulated the process of using the toilet, demonstrating their actions to others. They also used profanity in a public place.
The video was filmed specifically for publication on the social network TikTok and quickly spread on the internet, causing a wave of condemnation.
Both violators admitted their guilt. The court noted that the sanction of administrative Article 434 provides for a fine of 20 MCI, administrative arrest for a period of 5 to 15 days, or community service for a period of 20 to 60 hours.
"By the court's decision, both men were found guilty of committing an offense under Part 1 of Article 434 of the Administrative Code and were subjected to an administrative penalty in the form of administrative arrest for a period of 5 days," the court's press service reported.
The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
Recall that the video from TikTok came to the police during monitoring of social networks. Law enforcement officers found the author of the video and the "main actor." They turned out to be two residents of Astana aged 20 and 22.
