Eleven Kazakhstani teams will compete against world leaders in sports and esports at the Future Games in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The total prize pool of the competition is $4.75 million. The tournament will be held from July 29 to August 9. It will feature over 800 athletes and clubs from 50 countries.
"Kazakhstan will be represented at the home tournament by 11 teams that passed the national selection. They will meet world-famous sports and esports giants, including Team Spirit, T1, Team Falcons, Boca Juniors, Valencia Basket, LGD.Pinghu, and other legendary clubs," the statement said.
Battle Royale (PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS)
In this discipline, the country's honor will be defended by DIGA Esports. DIGA Esports is one of the leading PUBG organizations in Kazakhstan.
Phygital Shooter (CS2)
Kazakhstan will be represented by two teams in this competition: NOVAQ and Team KZ. NOVAQ was founded by world-renowned Counter-Strike player and two-time Major champion Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev. The team includes internationally recognized experienced players: Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov, Rustem "mou" Telepov, and Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov. Team KZ consists of young Kazakhstani players who are beginning to make a name for themselves on the professional scene.
MOBA PC (Dota 2)
In this discipline, Kazakhstan will be represented by Rune Eaters. The team includes experienced players who have participated in The International, Riyadh Masters, and have played for Na'Vi, Team Spirit, PSG.Quest, and other well-known organizations. The roster is considered one of the most competitive in Kazakhstan.
MOBA Mobile (MLBB)
In the MOBA Mobile category, the country's honor is also defended by Rune Eaters. The team is a winner of international and national tournaments such as IESF, the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Alaman League.
Phygital Basketball
In the phygital basketball discipline, Kazakhstan will be represented by two teams: PBC Astana and GTB KZ. PBC Astana is the most famous and most decorated basketball club in the country. It is also a bronze medalist of the Future Games 2025. GTB KZ consists of experienced players from Kazakhstani classical and 3x3 basketball.
Phygital Football
In phygital football, Kazakhstan will be represented by ACF x Allur and UEL Team. Both teams successfully passed the national selection and qualified for the home tournament. They will compete against the world's strongest phygital clubs.
Phygital Fighting
In the Phygital Fighting discipline, the honor of Kazakhstan will be defended by the Future Nomads team. The team includes world and Asian champions in MMA, champions of Kazakhstan, and current leaders of professional promotions.
Phygital Dancing
In the phygital dancing competition, Kazakhstan will be represented by the winner of the national selection, Gulnaz Amangali.
Tournament Venues
The Future Games 2026 will be held at four modern sports facilities in Astana: Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex; Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace; Beeline Arena National Tennis Center; Barys Arena Ice Palace. The competition program includes eight disciplines that combine digital and physical stages.
