Astana police have detained organizers of an illegal informal 'concert' in the basement of a multi-story building, the city police department reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A complaint was received from residents about a group of young people. Police arriving at the scene found that a ritual called a 'funeral concert' was being held in the building's basement. It was established that the event was held without prior approval from local executive authorities.
'During the inspection, there were about 65 people in a cramped room. Participants were partially naked, pushing each other, thus posing a danger. In addition, alcoholic products were sold at the venue,' police said.
All participants were taken to the police to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to prevent dangerous actions involving minors. The organizers of the event were held accountable, and preventive conversations were held with minors and their legal representatives.
