In Astana's Saraishyk district, a passenger car crashed into a store on the first floor of a residential building located on A. Bolekpaev Street. According to the Astana Police Department, a 15-year-old girl who was inside the store was injured. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident. The accident occurred today around 18:30. In a video sent by eyewitnesses, the car is seen entering the "Ayala Fruits" store on Bulekpaev Street.
It later turned out that the driver of the Hyundai Accent, who lost control and drove into the vegetable store, was only 18 years old.
The girl injured due to the driver's inexperience was taken to a medical facility, where she is receiving necessary medical care.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that a car with teenagers overturned and caught fire in Ust-Kamenogorsk, killing two people.
