A snake was found in a private house in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Today, the 112 service received a report that a snake was discovered in the yard of a private house on Beshatyr dead-end in the Saryarka district. Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene.

Using a special tool, they caught the snake and released it far from the settlement. There were no casualties, the emergency service reported.

Rescuers advise that if a snake is spotted, one should not approach it, maintain a safe distance, and immediately call 112.

It is worth noting that two types of snakes are common in the Akmola region. The grass snake is not dangerous to humans, while the steppe viper is venomous.
