In Astana, a teenager smashed the glass of a bus stop pavilion on Bogenbai Batyr Avenue. He was held administratively liable for petty hooliganism, and the damage caused will be recovered from his parents, police reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The teenager kicked the glass of the stop and fled. Police identified him and placed the minor on a preventive register. His action will also be reviewed by the commission on juvenile affairs.
The parents were held administratively liable for improper performance of child-rearing duties. They will have to compensate for the damage caused to city property.
"Every such fact receives a legal assessment, and those responsible are held accountable," police said.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that an 18-year-old man and a teenager are suspected of vandalism on the Alley of Journalists in Astana.
