Preparations for the launch of a dairy processing plant in Astana are nearing completion, the government reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The enterprise is focused on producing milk, kefir, sour cream, yogurt and other dairy products for the capital's market. According to Vitaly Dolzhenko, director of RnR Group LLP, the total cost of the project is 6 billion tenge. The plant was commissioned in 2026, with the first product release scheduled for August.
The production capacity of the enterprise provides for processing up to 100 tons of milk per day with the possibility of further increasing volumes, and also allows the production of 350 types of products, the message says. All dairy products produced at the enterprise will be sold in Astana and nearby regions.
