In the capital, personalized school and discount transport cards for bus travel can be issued at ticket offices at Tarlan Astana stations. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to "City Transportation Systems", from 17 October there will be no need to go to the central ticket office to issue transport cards.
"At the ticket offices located at the stations, it is possible to issue school and discount transport cards for paying fares on buses and on the Tarlan Astana light rail network," company representatives said.
Who can apply
The following categories of citizens can issue personalized transport cards:
- 01schoolchildren aged 7 to 18 studying at educational institutions in Astana;
- 02citizens registered and permanently residing in Astana who belong to the discount categories approved by the city maslikhat.
Documents required to issue a school transport card
- 01original ID card or passport of the parent or legal representative;
- 02original birth certificate of the child indicating the IIN;
- 03original certificate issued by an educational institution in Astana;
- 04color photograph sized 3 × 4 cm or 4 × 6 cm.
Documents required to issue a discount transport card
- 01original ID card or passport;
- 02original pension certificate;
- 03color photograph sized 3 × 4 cm or 4 × 6 cm.
In addition, digital documents in the eGov Mobile mobile application can be used, including the "Әлеуметтік ID" document.
