An explosion occurred in a tandyr samsa preparation area on the territory of the Sapa construction market in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In a two-story administrative building on Shara Zhienkulova Street, a gas-air mixture exploded due to depressurization of a 50-liter composite gas cylinder. The incident took place in a room on the first floor of the building where tandyr samsa is prepared.
"As a result of the explosion, part of the ceiling and the door opening collapsed," rescuers said. According to the city health department, 4 people were injured. Three of them were hospitalized, and one was sent for home treatment. Currently, the circumstances and causes of the explosion are being investigated.
