An inDrive taxi driver in Astana has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest for persistently offering intimate services to a female passenger. The case was heard by the city's specialized inter-district court for administrative offenses. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the court, the incident occurred on October 11 at around 07:00. The driver offensively harassed the passenger by offering intimate services. His actions were classified as petty hooliganism under Part 1 of Article 434 of the Administrative Offenses Code.
Evidence and liability
The man's guilt was confirmed by case materials, including the protocol, the driver's admission of guilt, a police inspector's report and the victim's explanations.
The court considered the admission of guilt and the fact that the man committed the offense for the first time as mitigating circumstances. No aggravating circumstances were established.
Sentencing
When imposing the punishment, the court also took into account the persistent nature of the offers made to the passenger. The ruling on 10 days of administrative arrest was issued on October 13.
